Jacob’s Well Gardens
Tom and Dave gave me an inspiring tour of their two gardens off the alley in downtown Vancouver (Chinatown – Strathcona). Found between Hastings and Pender Streets in the block between Dunlevy and Jackson Avenues, healthy vegetables growing in trucked-in City compost look up at the high concrete walls of local businesses. City Farmer.
Awesome project! Love the gorilla take over of the vacant lot and then giving back to the community. Great job and thanks for posting.

if we Organically Farm only 1/4 of lawns in this county into food gardens there will be so much food that we’ll have to give it away

no salmonella, pesticide residue, week killer residue a key nutrient only found in supermarket Produce !! lol
Just wanted to write that what you guys are doing is amazing. We can all learn something for your generous nature. Keep up the great work. Also, it seems to me that more people from Canada are aware of permaculture and other things of that nature. Is there more education up there?
