For my birthday on June 19th I received a 0 voucher from my other half, Christopher. With it I decided to buy myself a REAL worm farm and some more worms. In this video I show the contents, construction and setup of the new worm farm. It looks fantastic and I think it will out perform my little home made one by a mile.. Let’s see..

The winter raised garden is looking really great after just over a month since being planted. I have to say I don’t see any pest damage and that very well could be due to the diatomaceous earth that I added as a top dressing. The broccoli and cauliflower are starting to show and I can’t wait to watch them get even bigger!

Recycle and reuse is my motto this year, and it turned 8 pallets, 8 rebar, 4 ten-foot PVC pipes, and a bunch of brown paper bags in a new raised bed!

Learn to construct a 4 x 8-foot raised bed that even a beginner can build. It will take only a couple hours. This raised bed design is also very affordable.

We are finally at the stage of planting. With the kids help we get our two beds planted with the beginning of our salsa making veggies.
