I am trying Yukon Gold potatoes! I need to be careful not to water these too much or they’ll rot. Also, I tried to be careful to make sure my soil was amended well down (I have clay soil) for best drainage.

Planting Broad beans.m4v
Planting some broad beans in a raised bed. When using raised beds or planting in small spaces raising plants from seeds in small pots is an ideal way of doing it. You can then share a packet of seeds with neighbours. Braod beans may need ot be staked with a cane at either end of a row with string between.

This video discusses general building considerations. Other considerations ~ Ceramic coated screws were used to avoid staining of the Redwood. Hedge row between the road and garden to minimize pollution. The spot can always be converted into an enclosure for goats or chickens.
